POS Material Budgets for Regional Rollouts
How to allocate print and temporary unit spend across Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and secondary cities without starving the stores that move volume.
Regional rollouts in Thailand often split POS budgets evenly by store count. Volume rarely follows that map. Weight spend toward formats and clusters where the launch SKU has confirmed distribution and where field coverage can maintain the set.
Separate permanent print (shelf strips, header cards) from temporary units that travel with a two-week promo window. Temporary units need freight and teardown labor in the budget—omitting those lines is how displays linger past the mechanic and confuse the next promotion.
Keep a small contingency for reprint when retailer compliance rejects a claim line. It is cheaper than losing the booked endcap because a sticker wording failed legal review.
