Photo Proof Without Theatre

Field audits need clear photos, not stylized campaigns. A simple standard that still shows whether the launch set is real.

Photo proof for launch merchandising should answer three questions: Is the unit in the booked location? Are the correct SKUs faced? Is price communication present and legible? Angled lifestyle shots that hide empty facings help nobody.

Ask for a wide approach shot, a straight-on set shot, and a detail of the price strip. Timestamp and store code in the filename. Reject images that crop out adjacent competitors—you need to see whether your launch is boxed in.

Train merchandisers once, then keep the standard short enough to fit on a single phone note. Long brand guidelines rarely survive a humid Saturday morning in a packed hypermarket.
